Customer Reviews

Finally, something that works! I m a 49 year old female - I ve struggled with my skin since I was 13. I ve had what I THOUGHT was acne on my face, neck, back, chest, shoulders, and stomach. In the last year, I ve come to find out (through online research) that my problem is mostly yeast that overgrows on my super-oily, Mediterranean, olive skin. I ve had quite a bit of successs clearing my body fungal acne with Nizoral shampoo, as well as Head and Shoulders shampoo (I alternate between the 2). However, I continued to struggle with blackheads in my t-zone and on my cheeks, and also pimples around my jawline. I recently read about azelic acid in a pityrosporum folliculitis forum, and I decided to try Melazepam. I started by gently using a dermaplaning razor, then washing my face, and applying the Melazepam. It s only been about a week and a half, but my skin is smoother, less oily, and my blackheads almost literally fall out of my pores! And no new pimples. I can t guarantee it will work for everyone, but I wish I had known about this years ago! It s better than ANYTHING a doctor has ever prescribed me. 5) It smells terrible, so keep it in a container in the ... I had back acne. At any given time, I would have 5 or 6 cystic bumps that would take a month to go away. I tried everything over the counter, herbal, 2 dermatologist who prescribed, for almost 2 years, antibiotics and expensive topical medications. My gynecologist tried me on different birth controls but nothing helped. From everything I had read, my acne was a combination of an over production of oil, large pores and bacteria that normally accumulates on the skin. My thoughts were if I can't control the oil production, maybe I can control the bacteria.So... after a few tries, I finally came up with a concoction that works. 2x per day, I use a back brush with sulfur soup (in the yellow box - order from Walmart or Amazon.) It smells terrible, so keep it in a container in the shower. Once out of the shower, I mix the Melazepam with antibacterial gel. I rub it on my upper back and shoulders (let dry and it burns a little) I carry antibacterial gel with me through out the day and put some on my back and shoulders in an attempt to control the bacteria. I also wash my hair daily and sometimes twice b/c it is very oily and I can't stand that dirty hair feeling but I have stopped letting my shampoo and conditioner touch my back. I use a shower cap and wash my hair in the sink. It's a lot to have to deal with daily, but after 2 years, it has been the only thing to help. I still get one or two from time to time (especially around "that time of the month") but I no longer take a birth control pill b/c it was making the acne worse. 5It works! The consistency of this cream is thick so I use it as a spot treatment on face and shoulders. Takes care of breakouts! 5is a far superior product. I don't care for the "itchiness" that ... My dermatologist said this wouldn't work, but it did. I have yet to finish 1/6 a tube. While I did note minimal lightening of dark spots left from pimples over daily applications for about three weeks, I do think Ambi 4%, if you can find it, is a far superior product. I don't care for the "itchiness" that lingers for a good ten+ minutes. It's affordable and easy to find, though, unlike hydroquinone 4%. 3Not creamy , granules. I don t know if I had a bad product or if it was too long in the sun. The consistency is wrong, like granules, not creamy or lotion. I still used it. First day my whole face was very red, and it broke the skin with p pulas from rosacea. I m afraid to use it again. 2Everyone swears by this, but . . . I have weird reddish cheeks and forehead skin. Some people (not doctors) have insisted that I have rosacea, while others claim they never noticed how pink I am. Well, either way, I tried this after seeing a bahzillion recommendations on skincare reddits and other forums for folks with rosacea. I don't like it as much as skinoren, and I'm not sure it's had positive effect on my maybe-rosacea, so I give it three stars for now. Didn't make my skin worse, which is a feat in and of itself. 3Works great! I'm on my third tube of this stuff. It works great! My skin is so clear and soft, no bumps, no breakouts ever. I even have my 13 year old son use it when his face breaks out and it's clear in a day or two. I would highly recommend this for anyone who suffers from rosacea or acne. 5Good acne treatment I LOVE this for my acne. Almost clear skin since using it. Where has it been my whole life? 5Excellent for acne, not seeing any changes with melasmaMy skin is two-fold, I have issues with acne (usually 1-2 deep, cystic pimples a month) and melasma (sun related on upper lip, as well as my nose and cheeks).I've been looking for a natural skin lightener and read quite a bit about azelaic acid. I also use a vitamin B3 serum and wash my face with koljic acid soap - along with peels, ipl's and red light therapy. Azelaic acid is proven to help with rosacea and acne - and in some cases lightens skin discolorations.I haven't noticed any improvement on my melasma (using for 3 weeks now) but my acne is non existent. That alone will keep me using this product. Couple things to note, it's thick and did cause an itching sensation initially (went away after a week of daily use - 2x a day). It plays well with foundation that isn't heavy (I had to change my foundation to make it work and it was worth it). I apply the cream after my serum and apply my moisturizer over.5the only thing that's worked on my adult acne I never struggled with bad skin until I was 35, and suddenly I had pimples. I work really hard at keeping my skin nice, and spend a lot on good cleansers and moisturizers, but in spite of that, the zits still arrive each month like clockwork. I've tried all the over the counter stuff, all the expensive Clinique and Lancome and Differin acne products. Nothing has worked like this. After reading the ingredients, I fully expected to have a MEGA breakout, but that didn't happen, and I got more or less immediate results. I've been using this twice a day for a month now, and I've not had a pimple in all that time, when I'd been struggling with scarring, nasty blemishes for years. I'm really impressed that such an affordable, simple product controls my cyclical adult acne. Today, a woman in her early 20s complimented me on my skin. She couldn't believe I was about to turn 40. It was a nice feeling! I'm going to recommend this to a couple of friends who struggle with the same problem. 520% Azelatic AcidThe 15% prescription is costing nearly $300 now. This is 20% and costs a tenth the price. Works good for Roseatia. I'm pretty sure that isn't spelled right. I'm also using it on age spots, but the verdict is out on that use. Supposed to be good on acne too, but I don't have that anymore.5Works well for me I found this product 3 or 4 years ago when my health insurance no longer covered finacea or azelex. I found it to work just as well as the prescription versions. It helps keep my Roscea at a minimum. If I m lazy and don t use for a few days, it all comes back. What I don t understand is how a tube 1/4 this size of Finacea can cost over $300, perhaps more by now 5
