- [Origin ] Our dark roast coffee is named after its growing region, Juncalito, a small community located in the province of Santiago, in the northern region of the Dominican Republic. Surrounded by lush mountains and verdant valleys, this community exudes a quaint and peaceful atmosphere.
- [Harvesting] All our coffee beans are hand-picked with meticulous care and processed by the wash method to produce a clean and bright flavor profile, enhancing the unique characteristics and complexity of each coffee variety. Our processing facility takes active measures to recycle and reuse production water to reduce water waste during production.
- [Tasting Notes] Our Juncalito dark roasted coffee is robust with a heavy body, reminiscent of everything that is familiar. Its deep, ripe flavors of black cherries and figs are complemented by a lingering sweetness, layered on top of a pleasantly bitter cup. Perfect for adding milk or pure cane sugar, as is customary in the Cibao. This roast has a syrupy texture that fully envelops you, much like a warm blanket on a chilly morning, the kind when the clouds mist lingers low over the grounds
- [Packaging] Our Juncalito dark roast coffee is available in a 250 gms and a 500 gms bags. Fully resealable packaging that is also recyclable.
