A traditional dried fruit made exclusively in Evia, from the 25.000 fig trees of the local variety. What makes the dried Evia figs so special is the drying method. The fresh figs are split in two before the exposure under the sun and brought back together to form the "askada" when dried. Mountain figs are carefully selected by hand. It is by far and all comparisons the most delicious and soft fig in the world!
